Old Candy – The Old English Tradition of Toffee Candy
Everybody seems to fall in love with the delectable treat called toffee. What makes this sweet (old candy) so lovable? Whatever variety they choose, it surely is heavenly and fantastically delicious. Together, they are boiled in staggering heat until such time they become hard. The chewy or soft ones are those that can be enjoyably shaped and formed.
During social gatherings, this sweet was always present as a form of entertainment. Kids would pull soft toffees on each end and have fun doing it. During the early times, toffee was known as taffy. Historians couldn’t really trace the origins of the term but some experts have it that taffy is a Latin word for tofene meaning utmost deliciousness.
The fame of this candy (old candy) spread across oceans and reached America. There it became popular too and businesses started to produce their own brands of toffees.

Hello! Cool post! But the webpage is loading incredibly slowly.
I don’t usually comment but I gotta admit thankyou for the post on this perfect one : D.
You actually make it appear so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really one thing which I think I’d by no means understand. It seems too complicated and extremely vast for me. I’m looking forward to your subsequent post, I will attempt to get the grasp of it!
